Bob Katz heute auf FB hat geschrieben: All these auto alignment tools need to be applied with a brain!
Imagine trying to align a pair of spaced drum overheads: NOT! Maybe the slight phase differences are a virtue that help give them dimension.
About the only things in a drumset that could help would be to align top snare with overheads. So, think before you do!
Summary: If you want a tight, focused snare image between left and right overheads, then consider alignment. But listen: the "cure" could sound worse than the disease.
Imagine time aligning two spaced omnis used for piano or orchestra pickup. Ouch!
