hallihallo ihr lieben! :-)
"Use of surround output Altiverb 5 is limited to Logic 7.0 and up. To accomplish this, you need to insert Altiverb 5 as a ‘Multi Channel -> AU Midi FX’ in the instrument insert of an instrument track. The first two Altiverb 5 outputs, representing the left and right channels, are
output on that track., the extra outputs can be accessed on the inputs of Aux tracks, as ‘Instrument x -> Altiverb 5 3-4’ (those are the rear channels) or ‘Intstrument x!-> Altiverb 5 5’ (center) or ‘Instrument x -> Altiverb 5 6’ (LFE)."

surround in Logic is tough but possible, like a bus can also be done, bare with me:
Set up a surround Altiverb on an Audio Instrument track (the only way to get Altiverb in surround in Logic) by:
choosing in the popup I/O->Multi Channel->AU Midi Controlled FX->Altiverb 5
route the audio of this instrument to out 1-2 (these are your front speakers).
then set up two stereo aux channels for rear and center and Lfe channels.
Choose for Aux1 as I/O Instrument 1 -> Altiverb 3-4. Set the output of this Aux to 3-4 and you'll have the rear signal there. Do the same for Center and Lfe (on 5-6).
Then make sure you have a stereo Bus (1-2). and choose this as a stereo send on each audio track you want to pass through Altiverb (like as it would be on a bus). Then choose in Altiverb as Side Chain input Bus 1. This will be a stereo input and all audio you send to Bus 1-2 will pass through Altiverb and come out in 5.1 surround.
Take a look at the attached picture how I set it up.
Das funktioniert

Vielen Dank, Sundram.

@MarkDVC
Danke
