Hi everyone.
I use Logic Pro X 10.4.
I have a free timing played ballad midi file, which I imported on a piano track.
I would like to set bars and beats. ( like tempo markers), to get a correct notation out of this. To make it coherent with Bars and beats of project.
Is that possible?
Help is much appreciated!
Thanks,
Christian

Hi and welcome!
you could convert the midi to audio and then import the audio and let Logic detect the tempo. Just a try.

Thank you Robert,
Yes, with audio that works. I did that.
I just hoped, that with midi it would allow me to work on the notes and the tempo on the same level. to make thinks easier....

Bounce your Midi to Audio and use the new Auto-Tempo-Features.

Thanks Clemens,
Problem is, that its played so rubato, rhythmically very stretched, that Logic choses the wrong transients. Tried that.
