Naja, andere Hersteller würden das Update als Logic 11 verkaufen. Aber bei Apple hört ja alles beim X auf ;-)

wegen der übersicht. ist nur sinnvoll ab einer gewissen menge/unübersichtlichkeit.
jetzt kann man pianos im piano-ordner suchen statt... äh, wie heißt noch diese firma, von der pianoteq ist? mal alle au-ordner durchgucken... ah hier, musiclab? ach nee, das ist real guitar, verdammt...


notenfont 'bravura' wird jetzt unterstützt. sieht ein bisschen songbook-mäßig aus.
sehr schön: die font-auswahl ist von den globalen in die projekteinstellungen gewandert.
so kann man verschiedene stücke mit unterschiedlichem notenbild abspeichern.

wen's interessiert: bravura kann man hier runter laden: http://www.smufl.org/fonts/ dann in die schriftensammlung ziehen, logic neu starten.


'Stereo-Out' heißt im channel strip jetzt 'St-Ausgab'. naja...

Für alle, die Logic mit Video arbeiten:

Bei mir auf dem alten MacPro (2008) ist die neue Version 10.1.0 völlig unbrauchbar, zumindest mit 'alten' Songs (unter 10.0.7 gespeichert) die ich mit der neuen Version öffne ..

Öffnen des Songs unter 10.1.0 zeigt Video plötzlich direkt im Vollbilsmodus. (Klar, ich benutze das in 10.0.7 immer fullscreen, nur hat sich das Logic nie gemerkt und ich musste es nach Programmstart immer erst fullscreen klickern).
Wir gesagt, Logic klappt den Film fullscreen auf, dubioser Weise zudem auf dem Hauptmonitor.
Der Versuch das Kontextmenue der Maus zu erreichen quittiert Logic mit sofortigem Crash.

Nächster Versuch, diesmal übers Hauptmenue Film entfernen = Crash.

Nächster Versuch, diesmal den Song erst in 10.0.7 geöffnet, Film entfernt und unter neuem Namen gespeichert. Danach öffnen mit 10.1.0 was problemlos geht. Danach Film neu laden, offset einstellen und los .. denkste. Dauert keine zwei Minuten und der Rotz crasht wieder. Ausserdem scheint der Wiedergabe Farbraum merkwürdig, alles über-kontrastiert.

Sehr komisch und im Moment für mich leider völlig unbrauchbar!

Dabei hatte ich mich auf ein paar echte neue Features gefreut, z.B. Regionen-Automation und Ordnung im Plugin Menue.

Auf das Update bin ich übrigens nur aufmerksam geworden, weil mir das Update für Logic Remote angeboten wurde. Installiert in der Hoffnung einige Bugs loszuwerden dann die Ernüchterung:
Das Update spielt nicht mit 10.0.7, also neues Logic ziehen.
Mit dem geht zwar die Logic Remote, aber Logic selbst nicht mehr!

Arrrgh, tolle Wurst!!

Zum Glück habe ich eine alte Gewohnheit, neben einem CCC Backup vor dem Update den alten Logic Container mal eben auf's Desktop zu kopieren ..
Aber die Remote ist trotzdem hin, ich wüsste bei dem iOS Kram keinen Weg zurück ..

Also, VORSICHT, wenn ihr gerade mit Video zu tun habt.
