da hat man fast eineinhalb jahre darauf gewartet :-)

.....hmmmm....also seitdem ich bitwigs synthese reigen nutze, weiss ich wirklich nicht mehr was all diese "neuen" freeware synthesizer plug ins noch so sollen....

- Positive Grid BiasAmp2
- Overload TH U und da der Rig Player
Bei beiden kann man das Amp Profil von dem Kabinet trennen, und auch nachbearbeiten. Bei dem BiasAmp2 kann man sozusagen virtuel an der Elektronic schrauben, und bei dem RigPlayer sind die Nachbearbeitungen wie beim Kemper. Nur kann man im RigPlayer keine eigenen Profile erstellen, wie im BiasAmp2 das geht.
Wenn es tatsächlich so eine Freeware geben sollte, wäre ich echt gespannt. Ich will und wollte nicht zu Offtopic werden, sonst müsste man den Beitrag abtrennen. Aber über den Kemper gab es schon einen Beitrag.

Aber eigenes Gear zu profilen ist ja eher das letzte was der Kunde will- es dürstet ihn ja vielmehr nach dem was er nicht hat

Demos habe ich mir nicht angehört oder angeschaut, sondern das Teil runtergeladen, ausprobiert und ausser der Profile von der Website laden geht da nichts. Nicht mal das Austauschen der Boxen ist möglich. Ich habe es mir angeschaut, das Ding ist ja recht übersichtlich.
Bei Profiling-Amps ist natürlich der Vorteil, dass Du gemachte Einstellungen abspeichern kannst, bei Hardware nur Rechtsanschlag. Hinzukommt, dass Du nicht so ein schweren Amp schleppen musst.
Bei einem Amp Profiler wird das Verhältnis sich zu den Nachbarn verbessern.
Nachteil ist dass Veränderung nicht identisch wie am Verstärker gemacht wwerden können.
Beim BiasAmp2 brauchst Du nur online zu sein, und kannst mit einem Suchbegriff Deines gewünschten Amps suchen. Die Profile kannst Du vorhören, bevor Du sie runterlädst. Die Community ist sehr groß. Nachbearbeitung ist auch möglich, Du kannst auch die Boxen tauschen, IR's von Boxen laden, oder abschalten und TwoNotes T WOS nutzen. Die Auswahl ist riesig, nicht jedes Profil ist gut, da es dort gute und weniger gute Möglichkeiten bei den Usern gibt. Das ist auch legitim, und manchmal braucht man vielleicht gerade so einen Sound, der nicht so toll ist.
Bei dem TH U gibt es eine kleine Auswahl an Profilen zu kaufen, die durchweg professionell sind. Auch Boxen tausch- und abstellbar.
